Introducing the new painting “WOMAN IN BLUE”

Women have a well kept-secret: they are beautiful and strong.

I am not talking here about what they show on the outside, the way they look.

It is not about a perfect make-up and a tight butt.

This particular strength and beauty are present in every woman, from the supermodel on the runway to the exhausted mom juggling between cooking dinner and the kids’ homework.

We all have it.

True beauty, true power.

It is a part of us, it is our heritage.

It is often so discreet, it might be hard to see.

But it is right there if you take the time to look.

Sometimes just a glimpse in a woman’s eyes…

In this new painting, I tried to capture such a moment: softness and intensity of the eyes, partially hidden in a blue veil built out of polymer paste to surround the woman’s face and protect her secret.

Women are beautiful and strong!
